Happy 4th anniversary GAEC!!!!!
This anniversary stands as a testament for the generations coming after us to know that when our God did great things, we set days aside and sat down to thank him and recognize him.
This Sunday morning, we stand to look back and testify of the faithfulness of God.
THEME: Psalm 77:11-12 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.12 I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”
Remember the deeds: You must be intentional in remembering the doing of the Lord God. spend time to worship Him and honor Him for His goodness.
Miracles of Long ago: Even time should not limit you from remembering what God has done. Your appreciation of God's doing should never fade with time.
Consider all your works and meditate: God’s testimony must affect you; it must influence your decisions and your character. Considering them and just remembering them without them affecting your thinking, behavior and how you feel about them is non-effective and dishonorable to His doing.
Psalms 100:4 “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” –
Anniversary is not a new church tradition-It is biblical set from the beginning:
Exodus 12:14 "This day shall be for you as Memorial Day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast."
We see God wanting his people to take a break and look back.
The ordinances of the holy communion are commanded to help us remember the working of our God.
The feast of the unleavened bread was meant to be an anniversary of God’s deliverance of his people from captivity.
Deuteronomy 8:10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
God wants us to be careful NOT to forget.to hold anniversaries and reflect on His goodness.
Nehemiah 8:9 Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Nehemiah and his people have just finished building the walls of Jerusalem and God wanted them to celebrate.
God wants us to celebrate even with feasting.
All over the world, the anniversary is a time of worship and thanksgiving to God. It is the time we come together to sing that.
Songs:” See what the Lord has done.”
And “I will not be silent. I will worship you”
Anniversary is a time of reflection.
We take the time of the anniversary as a time of reflection.
This is a time that we look back to see what the lord has done.
Some will look with a smile to see the growth and the fruits of your labor.
“See what the Lord has done”X2 what we've been waiting for has come to pass.
In the anniversary We evaluate our steps.
· We stand during the anniversary to reflect on the faithfulness of God, but we must ask ourselves if we have been faithful.
Psalm 139:23-24: "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting."
Lamentations 3:40: "Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord
This is the time when you retrace our steps even to check whether we've been on the right path.
At the time of Anniversary, it's the time we also look outside even with a smile to see who has been with us on this path.
During the anniversary, we must look at the vision of the church.
The time of an of anniversary is the time when we stand together to look at the vision and ask ourselves if we still uphold the vision?
Have we been utilizing all resources of time, money, energy and every opportunity to advance the kingdom of God according to the vision He gave for this church?
Have we been guided by the vision and mission of our church in all our decision making according to the word of God?
OUR MISSION
To be a center of worship, wholly focused on glorifying God, where the Word of God illuminates our path. We build one another in fellowship and embracing biblical truth, to proclaim God's love and make disciples of Christ.
OUR VISION
To see a thoroughly equipped man for every good work.2 Timothy 3:17
OUR COMMITMENT
Preaching the good news of salvation and demonstrating the reality of the existence of the Trinity through the working of the mighty power of the Holy Spirit.
PRINCIPLES THAT GUIDE US.
These principles are a summary of what we believe and the vision and mission of this church. they guide our decisions and all our activities. everything we do MUST fall under one of these principles and anything in contradiction to the biblical principles is Heretic.
Worship.
Ministry.
Evangelism.
Discipleship.
Teaching.
We use anniversaries to encourage one another.
It is the time when the old look at the young and tell them how far we have come. it will build their faith in God.
It is the time when the old look at the young and remind them where they are going.
We encourage ourselves by reminding us of the faithfulness of our God.
Looking back -Where we started
We held our very first service; the pre-launch of God's Awe Exaltation Center, on August 29th, 2021. During this service, Ps. Silas sermon was from Isaiah 43:19: "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
The prelaunch service was attended by a group of 22 pioneer members who were ready to make a profound change to their lives and impact lives of others in the city. Soon after, the Church was officially opened on September 5th, 2021. Rev. Tabitha Presided over the launching ceremony. There was a mighty presence of God as He came to confirm the elevation of a new Altar in the city. Multitudes of friends from different corners of the country came to be witnesses to the raising of a new altar in the city. friends and family joined us online from different corners of the world. it was a glorious day.
Prophetic word over the church.
There was a lot of prayers and fasting in preparation to the church launch. We prayed and we had a lot of friends praying and fasting with us from even out of country. During this period, and in the prelaunch and launching services, the Lord God spoke to us:
Zachariah 8:12: “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew."
"This is a well, and out of this well many shall drink fresh water.
' It shall be a river, that will flow out and water many dry grounds, and this church will bring revival to this city."
This will be a center of revival and out of this church, you will send messengers all over the world.
You will be blessed, and you will be a blessing to many.

Psalms 25:4-5 “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
God is very intentional in getting us to be wise in evaluating our past path.
We've used the past anniversaries to reflect on the steps that we have taken as a church, but most important is to recognize the enabling Grace of God in us.
These reflections are NOT just reports, they are testimonies.
Looking into the future-Where are we going?
I urge you to Continue praying for the Lord’s guidance and favor. We can only plan, but it is the Lord God who establishes our steps. Prov 16:9In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
The church is entering into a period of spiritual revival. In this season, God is calling the church for greater sacrifice and commitment.
