Seeking forgiveness:
· Repentance starts by acknowledging your failures.
· Then resolving not to do that again.
Daniel 9: 4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants, the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.
· The first thing Daniel did when he started his fasting was to ask for forgiveness, of his sins and the sins of his people Israel[GAEC]-
Isaiah 1: 18“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
1 John 5:16: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins."
Honor the lord for his mercy in our church.
· Remember the far God has carried us as a church.
· Great things he has done for us
· We asked that he guide us and protect us and he has been faithful.
· He provided for all that we needed.

· We have testimonies of God’s faithfulness these last 4 years-give thanks.
· Thank God for his provision, protection, guidance and above all for salvation of souls.
· Thank God as the Holy spirit leads you.
God has been faithful to protect us.

Deuteronomy 7:9: "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love..."
Psalm 36:5: "Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds."
1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez,[a] saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
· We humble ourselves before our God.

Acts 2:47: "Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
· Pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of God’s power in the church this year.
Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
· Pray for individual members of the church to increase in commitment and service to God.
2 Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Spiritual warfare
Ephesians 6. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
PRAY AGAINST RESISTANCE IN THE SPIRITUAL REALMS
Daniel 10:12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.
Daniel 10:20 So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; 21 but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince.
· The princes mentioned were spirits, that ruled over the decisions of those kingdoms.
· The prince of Persia [modern Iran] persecutes Christians up to this day.
· These are spirits that influences leaders against Christianity.
· These spirits can operate against the church using the local leaders.
Pray against all territorial Spirits.
2 Samuel 5 All the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, “We are your own flesh and blood. 2 In the past, while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the Lord said to you, ‘You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.’”6 The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David, “You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off.” They thought, “David cannot get in here.” 7 Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion—which is the City of David.
1 Corinthians 16:8 But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, 9 because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.
· Pray against opposition of all form.
· Pray against the opposition to the work of ministry.
· This year slogan PRAY & PREACH-Pray because this is one tool the enemy will want to use. Opposition in different dimensions.
PRAY AGAINST SPIRITUAL STRONGHOLDS
Mark 5:10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.11 A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. 12 The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.” 13 He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.14 Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. 15 When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 16 Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. 17 Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.
· Pray against territorial spirits-They take hold of the land and fervently fight perceived intrusion by Christians.
· Pray against altars of raised by the fathers of the land in the territory
Judges 6:25-25 That same night the Lord said to him, “Take the second bull from your father’s herd, the one seven years old.[b] Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole[c] beside it. 26 Then build a proper kind of[d] altar to the Lord your God on the top of this height. Using the wood of the Asherah pole that you cut down, offer the second[e] bull as a burnt offering.”
· When we came to the land the church is, we broke down altars spiritually, but I want the church to know that these forces persist in fighting.
· We mut continue to be vigilant in prayers.
PRAY AGAINST ALL KIND OF BATTLES/ EVEN PHYSICAL BATTLES.
NEHEMAIH 4:7 But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the people of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem’s walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. 8 They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. 9 But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
· Sanballat and his friends were very angry at the work Nehemiah was doing.
· Do not think your work in ministry is appreciated by all people.
· Pray against spirits of jealousy and opposition.
PRAY AGAINST SPIRITS OF DISCOURAGEMENTS
Nehemiah 4 When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, 2 and in the presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he said, “What are those feeble Jews doing? Will they restore their wall? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they finish in a day? Can they bring the stones back to life from those heaps of rubble—burned as they are?”3 Tobiah the Ammonite, who was at his side, said, “What they are building—even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!”
· This spirit operated in Samson when facing Goliath. He undermined David.
· They ridiculed the work going on to weaken their spirits and morale.
· Pray against this spirit and beware of it when it is in operation.
PRAY FOR BREAKTHROUGH.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
· The church must awaken to the awareness that the enemy is not asleep, he is fighting every day.
· Many of the feelings you feel and give in are spiritual battles that you must overcome.
· The word spoken against you are only meant to weaken you and take you away from the plan of God.
· Remember God has given you authority, and he will go ahead of you, but you must have the wisdom and willingness to fight.
· From the days of John, the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it. Matthew 11:12
Micah 2:13 The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”

Get up and roll up your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up. 35 All those who lived in Lydda, and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
