THE BUILDER

Praise the name of the Lord our God and savior Jesus Christ. I must honor the anointed of God in this sanctuary. Pst. Grace, and your wonderful husband Elder Kinyua-thank you, for having me here and hosting me and my children in your home.
I want to recognize the presence of Pastor Henry and your beautiful wife Tina. Thank you and God bless you for the great work that you are doing in this house.
I’m very humbled to stand before you in this beautiful sanctuary. I came here yesterday, and I was awed by the grace of God in this place. How beautiful it’s to be part of this great work the Lord God is doing in the city.
I give God all the glory for His guidance and protection in our journey from the USA. My family is doing well. The church in Dallas is doing great. We are tearing down altars of the enemy and raising the altar of our God in every corner in that city-we have taken dominion. Glory to the Lord God Almighty.
I’m a pastor and a teacher of the word of the Lord my God, but the Lord sent me as a prophet to the church. Expect to hear more prophetic utterances in this sermon than teachings.
Today we will reflect on God the builder.
· Our God is a builder; we are created in his image.
· We are created in the image of God; we must be builders.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
- "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
- “So, God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
· How do you rule over the animals in the sea, yet you can barely swim?
· This is not physical authority-its spiritual authority that turns a mere human into a ‘god’ on earth.
· You cannot be a builder without authority.
· But before you can embrace this authority, you must have the image of God.
· And because God is not physical but spirit, your must be like him spiritually.
God was systematic in all that He did, he couldn’t create man before he created his food. He couldn’t create sea animals before separating sea and land and he had to separate darkness and light before creating everything else so that they could have light.
Jesus builds the devil DEMOLISHES!
Jesus distinguished himself from the devil by declaring that He builds, the devil demolishes.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
- You must be very careful because the enemy has used man to tear down instead of building.
- Your words must focus on building.
- Your activities must focus on building the kingdom of God.
KEY: God is a ultimate designer, who meticulously crafted the cosmos with order and purpose. He created us in his IMAGE to do just that.
· Our God is a master builder.
· He is the master of builders.
· We are builders.

The character of a builder:
He knows exactly what he wants to accomplish.
- He does not settle down, Abraham lived in tents, he was looking for a city whose builder was God.
- He aims for bigger and more beautiful.
He sees opportunities to build everywhere.
- A builder standing in this church will be seeing things that he can build.
- A non-builder will not even remember the color of the chairs after the service.
Hebrews 11:9-16 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
- Paul presses on for the prize.
Philippians 3:10-16 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
- You cannot find the way until you know the destination.
- You are created to bring glory to God and He has surrounded you with opportunities to bring honor to his name.
Ephesians 3:18-19 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
He had a focus on what he wanted for his disciples-to be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
He is a planner.
- He is a planner, he designs, counts the cost and starts the work.
DAVID
- One of the greatest builders in scripture was David, greater than Solomon. He built things that lasted.
- He reestablished the borders of Israel and Yes, he put materials in preparation for the building of the temple.
- He brought the ark and established Jerusalem as a center of worship 2 Samuel 6 .
- Levitical Order: He established priestly order in israel.
1 Chronicles 23:4 [David said, “Of these, twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work of the temple of the Lord and six thousand are to be officials and judges. 5 Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the Lord with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose.”6 David separated the Levites into divisions corresponding to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.]
- Worship: He established permanent and orderly worship in israel.
1 Chronicles 25 David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service:
Psalm 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
- Wisdom on how to use the numbered days.
- Some of you are so young and feel that you have a lot of time until you realize that you are running our of time.
He stays focused on the work.
- He does not get distracted- Nehemiah said, I cannot come down’
Nehemiah 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, "I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it to go down to you?" so I sent messengers to them with this reply: “I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down.
· There will be intentional distractors in ministry. You must stay focused.
He is WISE EVEN IN CHOSING COMPANIONS BUILDers.
Ezra 4:1-4 : Now when the enemies of Judah and Benjamin heard that the people of the exile were building a temple to the Lord God of Israel, they approached Zerubbabel and the heads of fathers’ households, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we, like you, seek your God; and we have been sacrificing to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us up here.” But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of fathers’ households of Israel said to them, “You have nothing in common with us in building a house to our God; but we ourselves will together build to the Lord God of Israel, as King Cyrus, the king of Persia has commanded us.”
· Not everyone who comes your way is sent to build you or build with you.
· Do not be easily excited.
ROPHESY OVER THE CHURCH.
· Wings over the church. / Brooded.
· Winds of favor to blow from different directions to the church. [The Lord God told me He will cause winds of favor to blow towards the church]
Psalm 135:7 He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth, who makes lightnings for the rain, Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
· Ministers will come ready to serve in this church.
· This church shall be the light on the hill; many will not be told about it for its light will draw them to it.
· God says, “Love one another.” God says through Love He will build His church.
Proverbs 3:3-4: Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win a favor and a good name in the sight of God and man
Grace to build
Three divine aspects as you build,
- You must be within God’s plan.
- The holy Spirit must hover.
- The word must be spoken.
1 Corinthians 3:10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.
- The Holy Spirit gives Grace to build.
- He gives you strength and direction.
- You need his touch.
Minister’s service
Honesty.
Zechariah 8:16 speak the truth to each other, render true and sound judgement in your courts.
· Be specific in what you want to accomplish.
· Have frequent meetings.
· Have open and honest discussions.
Keep your word.
1 John 2:3,5 But whoever keeps his word, truly in him the love of God is made complete.”
· Our goal as Christians is to be more like Jesus. If you make promises and are able to keep them, you are one step closer to stepping into the image of God.
Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.
Love one another.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 16:14: Do everything in love.
Colossians 3:3-14 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.[b] 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

be zelous.
Romans 12:11: “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
· Be enthusiastic and dedicated in service to God.
Galatians 4:18: “It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.”
· You must have a righteous purpose behind one’s zeal.
Titus 2:14: “Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”
· God has transformed us through his love, inspiring us to be zealous for good works.
John 2:17: “His disciples remembered that it is written: ‘Zeal for your house will consume me.’”
· This reflects Jesus’ passionate commitment to God’s house and His mission.
Revelation 3:19: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten be zealous therefore, and repent.”
· Be zealous in response to God’s correction and guidance.
